Apr 19	comment	How are backpacking conditions at Yosemite in April? For reference, the route was from the Wawona tunnel to Sentinel Dome. Our route could be accomplished with only snow shoes, but that will certainly vary by location and how the winter is breaking.

May 16	comment	Should I use my cold weather boots in 40-80°F weather? I ended up taking both. The shoes were great for the warm dry part, the boots were great in the snow. It was definitely convenient to be able to switch when drying out. Reasonable solution when you don't have money for proper warm weather boots.
