Do reusable “hand coolers” exist? We have little packs like this amzn.com/B000P3GXLM in the freezer for when the kids get bonked on the head. May also work for you. |

Is it dangerous to sleep in a tent alone in a forest in -20? I would still have concerns about security but that might just be me. Best of luck to you. I don't think I could live that frugally. |

What can I do to keep my hands warm while using touchscreens in the winter? @Amine I live in NE and visit Canada sometimes in the winter. Around 32F/0C is when I am most likely thinking. Anything much colder and I will probably not be caching :). |

What can I do to keep my hands warm while using touchscreens in the winter? @gerrit I have the devices in my pocket when not in use so they don't get as cold as something on the front of a bicycle. |

What can I do to keep my hands warm while using touchscreens in the winter? From the wikipedia article: "capacitive sensing is a technology based on capacitive coupling which takes human body capacitance as input". Sounds like it just conducts the charge from your body. Will that work thru gloves? |

What are examples of inappropriate places to hide a geocache? I'm new to this site but have followed a number of other SE sites. I think some domains are easier to have questions with definitive answers while others will have more with subjective responses. I read (and responded) to other geocaching questions on the site and feel this follows in their vein. I don't think there is an endless list of places to discuss. |

Why don't we apply the principles of layering when it comes to pants? Agreed I often use at least two layers while skiing and have used all three on occasion. |

Recommendations for two-way radios to use while skiing Thanks for the info. Didn't know about the licensing requirements for certain bands. |

Recommendations for two-way radios to use while skiing Essentially yes. Just the more modern term for it I guess. |
