What kinds of things are the “defensive driving” equivalent to handling campfires? +1 for a good answer. One thing to add is look up before you build the fire. |

What alternative topographic maps exist in the USA? On further digging, Delorme seems to be mostly focused on their digital products. Their paper products seem to be just the Atlas and Gazeteer products. The resolution on these is smaller than a USGS quad. I wouldn't want to backpack with one, but they can be good for planning. |
