@bashophil Yes it does. Depends on where you live though. In the place where I live, I feel more comfortable having a morning run for an hour or so.

@BenediktBauer Most of the books mention cutting steps for the sherpas, I guess that provides a pointer to the lack of crampons or maybe even the heavy loads they carry?

@AM_Hawk Yup. My problem was the same one. I did try it once or twice and the way the lace holds tight on your ankle put me off.
