I'm an electrical engineer currently working as a software engineer and developer. Prior to that, I was a computer tech for 6 months at a independently owned computer store while I looked for an actual engineering job.

Do iodine water treatment tablets have negative effects? I'd like to point out that on a typical hiking trip, you wouldn't be using iodine for "prolonged periods". |

How can you navigate without a compass or GPS The Southern Cross can still be used to point your way south. It's not as quick and easy as Polaris (which doesn't lie at true north, it's just a whole lot closer), but it still works. |
