@TomCollins: Thanks for inputs regarding the clothing part of it. About Search and Rescue thing, its really unfortunate to say that the most of the region in india, no matter what activity it is, be it climbing, be it hiking, be it caving. there is hardly any team which is dedicated to rescue ops. Usually, adventure groups themselves act for rescue if a call comes. So, usually it takes around 8-10 hrs for them to reach you, only if you manage to inform them that you need help, because it is very likely that you will not have network on your cellphones there. Sad but True!

@BenediktBauer: Its a natural cave. To get into the mouth of it, one needs to rappel down a rough 200 ft. Its rich with Flora and Fauna, an ideal habitat for reptiles and Bats, a mild stream of water that goes through it, but one never gets into a depth more than 4 ft. In the month of March, usually it doesn't rain here in India, so pretty safe with water flow which one needs to deal with for a very short distance in order to cross it.

comment How do you keep the inside of your backpack organized?
Along with this point: "the heavier things should be closer to your body and the lighter ones away from you. The logic being, the center of gravity will shift awkwardly away from your body if the heavier stuff is too far away from your body" please consider adding one more point regarding how/why we should keep lighter things in the lowermost part of the sack.
