comment Renting a boat for overnight in ocean?
I am not sure if this question is too broad. I think that it could be interpreted as how to how to start overnighting on a boat?

comment How can I prevent animals from marking my camp as their territory?
Raccoons or other annoying animals may be interested in your air freshener and try to open up your tent to get to it. This may leave your tent with a largish hole in it.

Air fresheners seems like a very bad idea in the backcountry. Seems like this will encourage big, dangerous animals (bears) to investigate your tent. This could even be a problem, while you are in the tent if you use something especially smelly.

comment Commuting by canoe
@Jeredepp - How do you store you boat? Do you bring it to work? Do you lock it up (in the water? Out of the water?).

comment How to anchor a raft on a river
There is no reason to use two anchors. Can you provide any justification as to why two are needed?
