Have you used others? If so how do maps from this site compare? Are they complete for a region or the whole world? Have you found any problems with them? Or whatever else you might be able to share. |

Practicality of Beards @DonBranson I imagine you don't have/use evaporitive coolers there. Here in AZ most homes have them and they are more than sufficient except for monsoon season July and August. |

Only been a couple of times and bow to your experience. But I Mentioned winter in this region. The white mountains will take it out of you any time of the year. |

What are the key sites to see on a short trip through Oregon? This question does include quite a bit of information that is not important to the question, and I think that, and that it's asking for a list, might be the reasons people are voting to close. If you trimmed it to "I will be spending a couple days driving along this part of Oregon, what are the major natural attractions I could stop at." But then it might be more suited to travel or no where as it is asking for a list. - Not sure how to fix it. |

Experiences hiking with a baby: diapers We usually burn them as well. But at the end of the night once everyone has left for bed. I can smell it burning and think it's pretty bad. To store them, we wrap and twist them in grocery store produce bags. One of the stores near us has some special kind of bag that helps seal everything in. We re-use those. |

What do you do if the fire does get “out of control”? It's worth mentioning, since you mentioned shovels, when digging a line for the fire, always push in or toss the dirt you dig up in to the fire. Yes this will give it some grass to burn and some dirt to smother, but it will reduce your risk of embers being outside and the fire jumping the line you made. |
