Are there beaches on the East Coast (US) where one can camp without a permit? I just saw that there's no tent camping in MA. Cars-only on the beach. Finding reasonable camping accommodations on the New England coast sounds like one hell of a challenge. |

Why do shin splints happen? you might want to add that traveling over hard surfaces (gravel, concrete, asphalt) can make a runner/hiker more prone to shin splints. |
