Are carabiners useful tools to have in the wilderness? If so, what would they be used for? Just remember to get real climbing carabiners instead of the crappy keychain biners, even though you might not use them for climbing. They're only a little bit more expensive for the cheap wiregate biners. |

Good qualities in carabiners I think I've bought 3 packs of the Neutrino biners for camping and other non-climbing uses. I'll never go back to those crappy "checkout aisle" impostor biners for clipping water bottles to my pack. |

Which stove fuel has best weight to bulk to heat ratio? The efficiency of all fuels with a similarly built stove are similar. I don't know if jetboil makes a liquid fuel version, but there is no physical reason you couldn't. Better heat exchangers are independent of fuel used. |
