Where can I get a handle for my Ugly Stik GX2. My handle fell off into the lake. I found the screw on the other side but the handle is gone. I couldn't find a single replacement parts dealer so far.

  • Hey there, welcome to TGO. Could you please provide your location? Some people may know a local replacement parts dealer. – OddDeer Aug 17 '16 at 8:09

I hate to say it, but these rods are so inexpensive that it might not be worth your time to obtain and install a replacement. And the replacement part, if available, will likely cost a significant part of the price of a new rod. – That Idiot Aug 17 '16 at 12:59
  • For the future, don't get rods or reels that are/going to be out of production. Try to buy spare parts shortly after you buy the rod and buy 2-3 of the same part. Try tarpon fishing outfitters of Florida for parts in addition to the ones given in the top answer. Alternately, look at craigslist or apps like letgo to find used reels from which you can scavenge parts. Maybe replace the whole reel itself. Also try to buy reels that have a simple/generic screw which can fit on many reels from different brands. – AgileFisherman Apr 17 '18 at 5:13

I'd recommend contacting an Ugly Stick service department directly and asking them if they can send you a replacement part, there's a chance your rod may even be covered by warranty:
