If the light from the mirror (and that can be anything shiny, CD/DVD, cigarette lighter, credit card, pie tin, etc.) is on your fingers, and the object you're trying to signal is in between them, you can be pretty much guaranteed the object is being flashed by your signal. My method is only slightly different, in that I use the "V" formed by my left index and middle fingers, instead of middle & ring fingers, but I don't think that makes the slightest difference other than personal preference. | |
