Oct 29, 2021 at 11:53 comment added J... @ChrisH Yes, you're talking about non-specific "ragged sticks" there and fruit tree wood - this is rather more specific. Salvadora persica is a particular species with thousands of years of history used for specifically this purpose (cleaning teeth).
