The key point is to make sure that the weight in your bag is balanced more towards your body. I'll edit this into my answer. | |

The stabilizer straps can be adjusted on the fly to balance comfort and control. On easy trails I tend to lossen them, when boulder hopping etc, with lots of dynmic movement, where balance and control is important, tighten them up. | |
