Sep 28, 2017 at 12:23 comment added Loduwijk @Roflo, as Bruder suggests, simply using a pocket can often lead to problems. I have known people to lose things out of their pockets this way. My father once swam in a lake, forgetting his wallet was in his pocket, and he lost the wallet in the lake - along with the money from his paycheck he had just cashed.

Aug 7, 2017 at 16:33 comment added Doc @Freiheit A solution to electronic keys is a ziplock bag. Just make sure you try to get all the air out of it before sealing (so that it doesn't float awkwardly) and to seal it very well (so water doesn't get in).
Aug 7, 2017 at 15:32 comment added Dennis Jaheruddin If your main concern is people stealing your bag, consider this out of the box solution: Leave your keys outside your bag (e.g. 1 cm underground below your bag). -- It is not foolproof, but it is now much less likely that a random passer by would take them away.
