saying that. patagonia΄s nano-puff is to be found for 125euros here in europe. is that something that would seem logical? or are there many versions of it?

weight is to be no more than 10kgs (trying to avoid above 8kgs too). 5c would sound like the temperature i´ll be finding.

Being trigger ready is not so much of a priority and yes you are right; I could put the camera inside and something else outside instead. Also I definetely do not want a bigger pack. I was just asking for ideas so I can avoid to do just that. thanks!

thanks for the input. i think i will go for: base layer: merino icebreaker second: a tight elastic polar fleece third: a windstopper / windproof jacket i hope it fits! reason for not including a down jacket. PRICEY!
